Erica, Erin, Aaron, and I went to the Doughty show. I'm a casual fan of Soul Coughing, but I wasn't really familar with Mike's solo work. It was a pretty good show, except for the super-annoying woman to my left who sang along with every song. Very loudly. I think it's safe to say that Mike Doughty has a unique vocal style. Please let me hear it. It made me very grateful for new songs, because she hadn't memorized them yet.

i was at that show.
those girls were fucking annoying.
the boy in front of me (who i like to refer to as my 'mike doughty show boyfriend') was trying to embarrass them until they stopped.
it only sort of worked.
they were really damn annoying.

I was up on the balcony, as it were, to the left of the stage. I thought the show was wonderful, if there were some annoying folks that kept intruding themselves on my consciousness whilst my friend and I were enjoying ourselves. These are great pictures.
